Westfield Local Heroes: Thank you for your nominations
Westfield Local Heroes is a recognition and awards program that shines a spotlight on the individuals and organisations in Australia and New Zealand who make a positive impact to their local community or environment.
Our Westfield team are now in the process of assessing all nominations and will select three finalists per centre. Your finalists will be announced Tuesday 20 August. Nominations are now closed for the 2024 Westfield Local Heroes program.
In total, $AUD1.25 million is provided in community grants by Scentre Group, owner of Westfield destinations in Australia and New Zealand.
How it works:
1. Nominations: Community members nominate their local heroes in their community
2. Voting: Our Westfield teams assess all nominations and select three finalists per Westfield Centre to go through to a community vote. From Tuesday 20 August we invite you to vote online for your hero.
3. Announcement: One successful hero for each Westfield centre will be awarded a $20,000 grant for the organisation or group they represent, and two finalists will receive a $5,000 grant.
