Visit Candy Hair located on Level 3 of Westfield Southland (near Kids Central) if you have long hair and are thinking about having it cut, you could make a difference in another childs life.
In support of the Cancer Council Victoria, Candy Hair has teamed up with ‘Barnett’ Wig Makers, who produce high quality wigs for kids with cancer. With your generosity, cut hair lengths 20cm or longer can be donated for use in creating wigs especially for children, who are enduring the terrible side effects of cancer treatment.
These wigs go along way to re-establishing a childs self confidence by allowing them to fit in with their peers. Candy Hair does not accept payment for any hair donated, rather ‘A Barnett’ Wig Makers reduces the cost of the wigs for children cancer patients.
NOTE: All hair donated under this partnership is solely used to make wigs for kids with cancer.
