Actor Holly Brisley’s relationship with fashion began at a very early age “It’s part of my makeup, stemming back from watching mum smuggle clothes into the house when I was a child. Mum was also truly organised and always instilling in us the importance of keeping everything colour coded”. Playing Home & Away’s resident vixen Amanda Vale for the past two years has certainly not hurt, “my passion for fashion works well with what I do as I get to dress up all the time!”
Born in Adelaide, Holly was 18-months-old when her family moved to Queensland’s Gold Coast which had a lifelong-impact on her – she hasn’t lived more than 10km from the beach ever since. Similarly her wardrobe reflects her beachside lifestyle “While my wardrobe is full with a great variety of trends, a lot of the time I find myself in jeans and a singlet top, which is perfect for the beach side.”
Holly’s favourite fashion look? “I love neutrals – mum was always telling me the power of earthy tones and I feel very confident when wearing them. But if you want to stand out and be noticed you can’t go past red.”
